4th
Wednesday Wine Booth:
The wine tasting is the
most popular of the Farmers’ Market themes and
as a partner of the Downtown San Leandro
Farmers’ Market, the Downtown Association is
provided the opportunity to set-up their light
blue canopy tent each 4th Wednesday
during the Wine Tasting that is hosted by the
Englander. Downtown Association members can
bring information about their company,
containing appropriate content, to the
Downtown Association booth and help to host the
booth. Any member wishing to hand out
information about their business agrees to host
the Downtown Association booth for at minimum
two hours. In addition to handing out
information about your company, the Downtown
Association always provides an Enter To Win
prize and on behalf of the Downtown Association,
you agree to collect email addresses for the
Downtown Association database. Donating the
Enter To Win prize is a great way to promote
your business. All members have the opportunity
to donate the Enter To Win prize and you are
asked to let Caryn Wegerbauer know about your
donation by the 15th of the month so
Pacific Coast Farmers’ Market Association can
create signs to promote your donation.

Margarita
Booth:
The Pacific Coast Farmers’ Market
Association has approved having the San Leandro
Downtown Association host four Margarita Booths
during the 2012 Farmers’ Market Season. This is
a terrific opportunity for the Downtown
Association to raise funds and to cross promote
their businesses. Members are asked to wear
their company logo gear and volunteer to pour
Margarita’s. This is a great way for members of
the community to put a face with a business.
Members are asked to volunteer for a minimum of
two hours. Volunteers will be provided with a
total of four drink tickets that they can either
use for themselves or to give to friends. This
is a fund raiser and members are asked to not
offer free margaritas to anybody. When you are
volunteering, if you want to drink a margarita,
you are asked to exit the booth service area and
enjoy your margarita out in the public area.

GUIDELINES
Special Event No Compete Guideline:
The San Leandro
Downtown Association hosts a series
of public events. During these
events, members agree to not compete
with the fund raising done by the
Association. For example, during
It’s A Wonderful Night, the
Association raises funds by selling
blinky items. During Sausage & Suds,
our Association hosts a food booth
that sells sausages and other food
items. No member of the association
will compete with our Association
sale items by selling, during the
event, any item on the event grounds
that competes, unless approved in
advance by the Association Board of
Directors. Our vendors are invited
to our events and it is acknowledged
that multiple vendors sell sausages
during Sausage & Suds.
If an Association
Member owns a storefront business
adjacent one of our event venues
that regularly sells food, drink or
merchandise being sold by the
Association during an event, to
eliminate competition, the business
owner and the Association will come
to a price agreement, in advance.
